To clean and set up the CMA Dishmachines Marisa coffee maker after not using it for six months, follow these steps:

1. Cleaning Before Use:
- Empty any old water from the machine and water circuit.
- Rinse the entire water system by allowing fresh water to flow through it.
- Run at least 0.5 liters of water through each coffee group.
- Flush the hot water circuit by dispensing hot water continuously.
- Steam should be released continuously for at least one minute to clean the steam wand.

2. Setting Up the Machine:
- Refill the machine with fresh water.
- Turn on the machine and allow it to reach operating temperature.
- Ensure all buttons and functions are working properly.
- Clean the steam wand and other external parts with a damp cloth.
- Perform a test run by making a coffee to ensure proper operation.

By following these steps, the machine will be clean and ready for use after a long period of inactivity.
