1. Lay out and familiarize yourself with the supplied components and
hardware.
2. Remove the plastic frame side covers by pulling outward slowly but
firmly at their corners. Remove the seat (one screw located at the rear
and one on each side of the seat). The stock horn is located on the
right hand side beneath the chrome cover between the cylinders.
Remove the three Allen screws from the horn cover, remove the
cover. Unplug the wire connector from the horn then remove the
10mm bolt securing the horn to the engine and remove the horn.
3. As shown in photo (1) hold the compressor/bracket assembly into

holes. Start one of the original screws in the forward hole (photo 1A)
to hold it in place.
4. Route the single long black wire up and to the rear as shown in (1B).
Plug the connector from the compressor into the horn wire plug from
the motorcycle (1C). Secure the ground wire (ring terminal on the end
of it) from the compressor along with the original ground wire using
the 10mm bolt removed earlier (1D).
5. Route the the long black wire (1B) over the rear cylinder head and
back to the battery. Using the supplied fuse wire cut the black wire to
the desired length, strip 3/8" of insulation and crimp the blue butt
connector to this wire. Connect the fuse wire to the battery (+)
positive terminal.
