CHI LDREN
Ke ep your mobile dev ice in a safe place, out of the reach of y oung chil dren. The mobile device con tains sma ll parts that may
present a cho king haza rd.
Prec autions for use
This mobile device meets guidelines concerning the exposure to radio waves.
Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It was designed to meet t he limits recommen ded by in ternational
guidelines to limit the exposure to radio w aves. These guidel ines were developed by and independent scienti fic organi zation,
The ICNIRP ; and include safety margins designed to ensure the protection of all, regardless of age and health.
The recommendations on expos ure guidelines for mobile dev ices emp loy a unit of measure known as the Specific abso rption
rate or SAR. The SAR limit defi ned in the ICNIRP recommendations i s 2.0 watt s/kilogram me (W/k g) averag ed over 1 0 grams
of t issue. In tests to determine th e SAR, th e equipment is used in standard usage positions at its hig hest certif ied power level
in a ll tested frequency bands. Th e actual SAR level of a device in use may be lower than t he maximum value because t he
equipment is designed to only u se the nec essary po wer requi red reaching the network. Th at amount changes depending on a
number of factors such as the distance fro m a network base s tation.
Radio frequency interference
Radio freque ncy output from electronic d evices ca n interfere with other electron ic equipment and cause malfunctions. Although
this mobile d evice has been des igned in a ccordanc e with EU regulations on radi o frequency emission, mobil e device w ireless
tran smitters and electrical circu its can cau se interference wit h other el ectronic e quipment. We therefore reco mmend taking the
following precautions:
Air craft
: Wireless equipment ca n cause interferenc e in aircraft.
·
Turn off your mobil e device b efore boarding the aircraft
·
Do not use on the ground unti l allowed to do so by the flight crew.
Vehicles: mo bile devic e radio fr equency emissions can affec t the elect ronic syst ems of motor vehicles. In rel ation to your
vehicle, check with the manufac turer or dealer.
Medical imp lants
:
Medical equipment manufacturers recommend a minimum d istance of 15 centimeters bet ween a wireless dev ice and a n
implanted medical dev ice such as a pacemaker or d efibrillator to avoid any interference with the medical device. It is
rec ommended that people fitted with such devices :
·
Always keep wirele ss equipment more than 15cm away from the me dical dev ice.
·
Never carr y wireles s equipment in a breast pocket.
·
Place such equipme nt at the o pposite ear to the medical de vice.
·
Turn off the wireles s equipme nt if they think it is interfering with th eir device
·
Follow the instructions provided by the medical implant manufacturer.
If y ou are fitted with a medical i mplant an d have any questio ns related to the use of your mobile/wi reless equ ipment, y ou
sho uld consu lt your do ctor
Hearing
:
Warning: Using a head set risks not be able to correctly hear o utside so unds. Do not use a headset when it could endang er your
safety. Some mobile d evices can interfere with the proper op eration of hearing aids.
Oth er medical devices
: Radio tr ansmitting equipment includ ing mobil e devices may interfere with the proper operatio n of
insufficiently protected medical equipment. Consu lt a doctor or the medical equ ipment manufactur er to find out wheth er the
equipment is sufficiently protec ted from external radio wave signals. Turn of yo ur device where required by regulation s,
particularly i n hospita ls.
Health facilities
: Hospitals and health fac ilities may be using equipment which is particu larly sens itive to external radio
frequency em issions. Turn off th e mobile device when staff o r notices tell you to .

Blasting sites and marked areas :
Turn off your device in potentially exp losive areas. Follow all official instructions. Sparks in such areas can cause an
explosion or a fire, resulting in serious injury or death. Turn off your equipment in pet rol/gas stations, esp ecially when near
the fuel pumps. Strictly follo w usage restrictions in fuel d epots, chemical plants or in places using explos ives.
Potentially explosi ve areas are often, but not always, clearly signed . These include areas where it is normally considered
advisable to turn of vehicle engines, the area below deck on ships, chemical storage or transfer plants, and areas where the air
contains chemical products o r particles, such as grain, dust and metal powder. Check w ith the makers of L PG (such as propane
or butane) vehicles that the d evice can be used safely in their vicinity.
All our mobile devices conform to international standards and regulations, and if need be national ones, with a view to
limiting u ser expos ure to electromagnetic fields . These standards and regulations were adopted after the completion of
extensive scientific research. This research established no link betw een the u se of the mobile device and any adverse effects
on health if the device is used in accordance with standard practices.
However if you would like to reduce the level of exposure to radio frequency radiation you can limit your use of wireless,
because t he time in contact with is a factor of ex posure for a person, and you can move away the device fr om you, b ecause the
exposure level decreases with a smaller distance.
