SHAMPOOER USE
Start shampooing (K). The shampoo brushes that
•
come with your unit efficiently clean many types of
carpet. Start shampooing your carpet at the point
furthest away from where you plugged in the unit.
You should shampoo in squares, moving around the
room towards the direction of the outlet.
CAUTION: Do not prop unit against furniture
and allow unit to operate unattended.
Apply the shampoo. Move the shampooer in a
•
large, circular motion. When foam appears, release
the trigger and continue the circular motion to work
in the shampoo. Continue until the foam disappears
then move to the next section of carpet.
Replace shampooer in storage tray. When you finish
•
shampooing the carpet, put the shampooer in the
storage tray. Run it for a moment to remove excess
shampoo from the brushes.
Clean the shampooer. Follow the instructions under
•
Care and Maintenance, p.13.
Fluff the carpet. If you have plush or pile carpet (not
•
loop carpets) use the nap-lifters to fluff your carpet
to aid in drying. Install the Nap Lifters in the same
way that you installed the brushes.
CAUTION: Use the Nap Lifters on short pile or plush
carpet only. Do not use on berbers or loop
pile rugs or carpets. Care should be taken
to first fold any fringe under the carpet
before using.

UTILISATION DE LA
SHAMPOUINEUSE
Début du shampooing (K). Los brosses à shampooing fournies
•
avec votre appareil permettent de nettoyer efficacement de
nombreux types de tapis.Commencer le shampooing du tapis
à partir de l'endroit le plus éloigné de Ia prise de courant où
Ia shampouineuse est branchée. Procéder carré par carré, en
direction de Ia prise.
ATTENTION : Ne pas étayer l'appareil contre le mobilier et
laisser ce dernier fonctionner sans surveillance.
Application du shampooing. Déplacer Ia shampouineuse
•
d'un large mouvement circulaire. Quand Ia mousse apparaît,
relâcher le déclencheur et continuer de faire pénétrer
le shampooing à l'aide du même mouvement circulaire.
Continuer jusqu'à temps que la mousse disparaisse ensuite
se déplacer à la prochaine section (carré par carré) du tapis.
Rangement de Ia shampouineuse dans son plateau. Une
•
fois le shampooing terminé, placer Ia shampouineuse sur le
plateau de rangement et Ia faire fonctionner pendant quelques
instants pour que l'excédent de shampooing s'écoule des
brosses.
Nettoyer la shampouineuse Suivre les étapes indiquées à la
•
page 13, Soin et entretien.
Relèvement du poil. Dans le cas d'un tapis à poil ras ou en
•
peluche (non bouclé), utiliser les peignes rotatifs pour relever
le poil du tapis et I'aider à sécher. Installer les peignes rotatifs
de Ia même façon que pour les brosses.
ATTENTION : N'utiliser les peignes rotatifs que sur les tapis
à poil ras ou en peluche. Ne pas utiliser sur les
tapis berbères ou les tapis ou moquettes à poils
bouclé long. Bien prendre soin de replier d'abord
les franges sous le tapis avant d'utiliser ces
peignes.
