SHAMPOOER USE
Before using the shampooer, you must get
the room ready for cleaning.
Remove all moveable furniture from the room.
Protect stationary items from water by carefully
putting aluminum foil or plastic under and around the
legs and edges. If you have plush or pile carpeting use
Nap Lifters first, then vacuum the room. You are now
ready to shampoo the carpet.
WARNING: Do not use solvents or gasoline in or
near your shampooer.
PREPARE SHAMPOO
Remove the tank by pulling its handle forward.
•
This action frees the tank from its mounting bar
(D).
After you pull the carrying handle free, lift the
•
shampoo tank out of its mounting position.
Unscrew the cap and fill the tank to a desired
•
level of warm water. Use only warm or lukewarm
water. Hot water may damage the tank. To see
the water level, hold the tank upright and look at
markings on the see-through panel on the side.
They represent units of liquid. Each unit mark on
the side panel should clean approximately 50-60
square feet.
Add shampoo to the water in the tank, using the
•
tank cap as one measure unit (E). Pour in one
tank capful of Turbo shampoo for each unit mark
of lukewarm water (1:8).
Do not use more shampoo than a 1:8 ratio. Use
•
only Aerus Turbo Shampoo. Do not use a weaker
®
dilution ratio. It is less effective and foaming
action is inhibited.
Test the carpet. Dampen a white cloth with your
•
shampoo mixture. Lightly rub the cloth on a small,
hidden area of the carpet. If the carpet color
appears on the white cloth, shampooing may
damage the carpet.
Do not use on Oriental or Persian rugs.

SHAMPOO TANK INSTALLATION (F)
If the carpet is colorfast, screw the tank cap on
•
and put the tank into the shampooer.
To replace the tank, set the bottom of the tank
•
onto the crossbar. Be sure the shampoo valve is
in its socket. Then, push the top of the tank back
until the tank and its handle are flush with the
front of the unit.

Avant d'utiliser Ia shampouineuse, il faut préparer
Ia surface à nettoyer.
Enlever tout le mobilier possible de Ia pièce; protéger
le reste contre l'eau en plaçant soigneusement
du papier d'aluminium ou du papier plastique
au-dessous et autour des pieds et des bords. Si le
tapis est en peluche ou à poil ras, utiliser d'abord les
peignes rotatifs. Le tapis est maintenant prêt pour le
shampooing.
MISE EN GARDE : Ne pas utiliser de solvant
ou d'essence à l'intérieur
ou à proximité de Ia
shampouineuse.
PRÉPARER LE SHAMPOOING
Pour enlever le réservoir à shampooing, tirer sa
•
poignée vers l'avant ce qui le libérera de sa barre
de montage (D).
Soulever ensuite le réservoir.
•
Dévisser la capsule et remplir le réservoir d'eau
•
tiède jusqu'au niveau voulu. N'utiliser que de
l'eau tiède ou modérément chaude. De l'eau trop
chaude pourrait endommager le réservoir. On peut
repérer le niveau d'eau en tenant le réservoir droit
et en regardant par le panneau transparent latéral.
Les marques sur ce dernier indiquent les unités de
liquide. Chaque unité apparaissant sur le paneau
latéral devrait permettre de nettoyer environ 50 à
60 pi2.
Ajouter le shampooing à l'eau dans le réservoir,
•
utiliser comme mesure une capsule de réservoir
de shampooing par unité d'eau tiède (E).
Verser une capsule remplie de shampooing Turbo
•
pour chaque unité d'eau tiède (1.8).
Ne pas dépasser Ia proportion (1:8 )N'utiliser que
•
le shampooing Turbo Aerusmc. Ne pas diluer
davantage le mélange, car cela pourrait le rendre
moins efficace et nuire à l'action moussante.
Essai Imbiber un chiffon blanc à l'aide de Ia
•
solution de shampooing. En frotter légèrement
un petit coin caché du tapis. Si Ia couleur de ce
dernier ressort sur le chiffon, le shampooing peut
endommager le tapis.
Ne pas utiliser sur les tapis d'Orient ou Perse.
•
INSTALLATION DU RÉSERVOIR À SHAMPOOING (F)
Si le tapis est grand teint, revisser Ia capsule
•
du réservoir et réinstaller ce dernier dans Ia
shampouineuse.
Pour le remettre en place après l'avoir nettoyé,
•
placer le réservoir sur Ia barre transversale.
S'assurer que Ia valve à shampooing est dans
sa douille. Puis, repousser le haut du réservoir
jusqu'à ce que ce dernier et sa poignée soient de
niveau avec Ia face de l'appareil.
