Component Introduction
A thermistor is a type of resistor whose resistance varies according to the
temperature. When the temperature increases, the thermistor resistance decreases;
when the temperature decreases, the thermistor resistance increases. There are two
kinds of thermistors, NTC (negative temperature coefficient) and PTC (positive temperature
coefficient). In general, NTC is widely used for temperature measurement. PTC is used as
resettable fuses.
