Using the telephone
If you want a different number to the one
shown in the display, you can press
scroll through the entries in the telephone
book.
To start dialling/end call:

Redial function

Automatic
If the "Automatic redial" menu item in the
setup menu is switched to "ON", the number
will be redialled automatically.
Refer to "Programming with DSC – Setup
menu – Automatic redial".
You can cancel the automatic redial by
pressing the telephone key.
Manual
Press

The last telephone number entered will ap-
pear in the display.
To start dialling:

The display will change in colour to indicate
/
to
that the telephone has begun to dial the
number or that an incoming call has been
detected.

Answering/ending a call

If someone calls you, you will hear the tele-
phone ring and "Answer?" will appear in the
display. If you receive a call from a telephone
supporting call line identification (e.g. ISDN),
the caller's telephone number will appear in
the display.
If this number has been entered in the
speed-dial directory, the caller's name will
appear.
To answer a call:
Press one of the buttons on the right-
hand side of the set.
To end a call:
Press
or CL.

Notepad

During a telephone call, you can use the
keypad to note down a telephone number
(notepad).
After finishing your current call, you can put
a call through to this telephone number and
save the number in the memory.
Save telephone numbers from the note-
pad
Press ME on the radio for approx. one
second.
Press
/
to choose the entry posi-
tion, for example:
"SIM card" or "Phone" and press OK.
Now you can check and correct the
number.
Press OK and enter the name using
the selection buttons. For more infor-
mation please refer to the section on
"How to enter a name/text". Press OK
to confirm your entry.
Enter the position (memory) and press
OK.
If you do not indicate a memory position,
the number will be saved at the next availa-
ble position.
