7. When the loader is to be serviced, cleaned or adjusted or when accessories are to be mounted on it, place the booms of the loader in a suitable position and secure them so that they cannot move. Turn off the tractor and set the parking brake. 8.
NOISE PREVENTION Continuous exposure to noise may cause hearing problems and even a loss of hearing. Noise level in the workplace depends on noise insulation and the specific way the valves are mounted. Use suitable ear protectors or ear plugs that have a sufficient noise-dampening capacity.
2. OPERATING THE MACHINE PROPERTIES OF THE MACHINE IN BRIEF Nokka loaders are designed for wood loading in farm forestry work. When equipped with accessories manufactured by Nokka Oy, the loaders are suitable for loading of ground, feed, solid dung, round bales and corresponding materials used in farming.

MAXIMUM LIFTING TABLE Maximum lifting capacity of models Nokka 2051P, Nokka 2962P, Nokka 3467P, Nokka 3767P, Nokka 3970P, Nokka 4772P, Nokka 4780P and Nokka 6700P loaders without the rotator and the log grab. Lifting capacities are measured according to different boom positions.
PREPEARING FOR USE The loader will be supplied to retail dealer and further to the customer on a transport stand or mounted on the loader mounting pad of the forest trailer. Unpacking from the stand and preparing the loader for work is done in the following way: 1.

8. Bend the boom jib with a movement of the transfer boom so that the boom jib is completely bent. The grab has been fastened with the lifting boom, loosen the grab from the boom very carefully because the grab can slip down during the loosening (risk for accident).
INSPECTION OF ASSEMBLY Test loading has been done in the factory and its information is registered on the log sheet. Equipment: • Check that all the pins, locking pins and other parts important for safety are secured and that the threaded joints are tight. Operation of the control valve: •...
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Keep parking brake on when using the loader. 2. Make sure there are no people in the working area. 3. Take care that you can see the whole working area without difficulty. 4. Start working the loader with low engine revs to keep the movements of the loader slow.
TRANSPORT POSITION When a loader is mounted on lower arms of a tractor during transport, the loader’s centre of gravity should be as close to the tractor as possible. For transport, the best position is with the loader facing forward with the grab at the front of the tractor (picture 8).
3. MAINTENANCE SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE WORK Before carrying out any servicing, adjustment or cleaning work or mounting any accessories: 1. Disengage the hydraulic power output. 2. Fully lower the equipment. 3. Stop the engine. 4. WAIT until all parts have come to a standstill. 5.
To make lubrication of the vertical boom’s top head easier, the turning cylinders and support legs have been scored. Before climbing atop the turning cylinder, extend the boom directly backwards and attach it to the frame of the forestry trailer or lay it on the ground.
HYDRAULICS Hydraulic hoses, pipes and couplings should be checked from time to time to find possible fractures or leaks. Replace worn or broken parts with new ones to avoid damage. The return and pressure hose type is 1/2" SAE 100 R2SC, and the pressure. Always observe maximum cleanliness while servicing hydraulic components, and clean the inside of hoses from dust, rubber particles, etc., before installation.
ADJUSTING THE TELESCOPE CHAINS ON NOKKA 4780 P The right way to adjust the chains is done by measuring the distance from the 2- telescopeear to the end of the 1-telescope. Right distance is 5 - 10 mm (see the picture below).
Do not order only by the picture - compare the part to its designation. Order the parts in good time from your dealer. If you have lost your spare parts catalogue, send the broken or worn-out part as a sample. Example. Nokka 3467 HK 3467 XXXX (serial number) 1 pc 0170090 bearing bush 45/50-40 WB 802 Name___________________________________________...
SERIAL NUMBER Write down the serial number of your grapple loader in the space provided below. You will find the serial number on the label placed on the left-hand side of the vertical boom. Serial number __________________________ STORAGE If the forestry trailer is not in use, it's working condition and resale value can be maintained by proper storage.
