  • Page 6 INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS DIAGRAM OF PROGRAM SELECTION AND OPERATION The diagram displays one of two different phases : 1) Program selection phase ( obtained by pressing key P ) In this phase, you select or modify the parameters of a program. The corresponding indicator lights up on the diagram.
  • Page 7 INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS CALIBRATION INDICATOR All Ugin’Dentaire furnaces have been subjected to IPTS 68 ( International Practical Temperatue Scale, 1968 ) temperature testing using a Eurotherm 239-type millivolt generator. You can, however, modify the furnace settings by means of digital calibration.
  • Page 8 INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS INDICATOR OF PARAMETER UNIT The units for the parameters displayed on 5 are indicated by five lights : Degrees Celsius / degrees Celsius per minute / minute / second / percent vacuum. VACUUM LEVEL DISPLAY This display gives the actual vacuum level inside the furnace, expressed as a percentage from 0 to 99%.
  • Page 9 INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS PAUSE KEY This key is only operative while the platform rises. It cancels the pre-drying time and switches to manual override. This enables the operator to set the platform at the desired height and then release it by pressing the Pause key a second time.

  • Page 11 Vacuum stop/hold : 0 VACUUM LEVEL : 0 to 99% The programming unit in the Lectra Press furnace with an electronic vacuum gauge. More accurate and dependable than a conventional manometer, this device controls the vacuum level to a tolerance of ±3% of the programmed value.
  • Page 12 INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS Hold time with vacuum The VACUUM STOP temperature is higher than the final temperature: a vacuum is maintained for the entire hold time. The vacuum stop temperature is equal to or less than the final temperature, but you programmed a VACUUM HOLD.

    OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION In furnace equipped with microprocessors, the power supply must be perfectly filtered. The Lectra Press furnace is protected against over-voltage by a system of active and passive filters. However, very high over-voltage may lead to errors in program data.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOT USE LECTRA PRESS ♦ SECONDARY PARAMETERS♦ You can also modify a second series of parameters. These parameters concern certain technical settings in the furnace that are not directly related to the firing functions. To access, put the platform on the lowest position Standby, then press the 18 and 20 cursors simultaneously for 5 seconds.
