3. Digital Audio Outputs
If you wish to use the ERC-4 as a CD transport, connect one or more of the digital audio outputs
on the ERC-4 to your favorite DAC, pre/pro, or other device that has a digital audio input.
The ERC-4 has three different digital audio outputs; AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF, and optical (Toslink)
S/PDIF. All three digital audio outputs are active at all times. When one of the digital audio inputs
on the ERC-4 is selected, as well as being converted into analog audio by the high quality DAC in
the ERC-4, the digital audio signal from the input is also routed to the digital audio outputs.
4. IEC Power Cord Receptacle
Accepts a standard removable IEC AC power cable (a high-quality commercial power cable is
included).
5. AC Power Switch
Switches the AC main power to the ERC-4 On and Off. When this switch is Off, the
ERC-4 will not respond to the remote control.
