AGITO 3. AGITO CORE OVERVIEW INTRODUCTION The CORE is the heart of your AGITO Modular Dolly System, within this module is contained all of the power management, RF and steering drivers. CORE DIMENSIONS 16x 3/8” threaded 1 inch/25.4mm pitch 460mm...
Payload mounting is provided via the 2 mounting rails on each side of the chassis. The threaded holes are 3/8 inch spaced at 1-inch intervals. These allow for the fitting of all our current and future stabilisation / camera mounting solutions. www.Motion-Impossible.com Motion Impossible Ltd. Mitchell Mount is a non-isolated fixture – further details to be released soon. V-CON STACKING RISERS Available as an option extra, the risers are designed to lift the V-Con up above the AGITO chassis – further details to be released soon. www.Motion-Impossible.com Motion Impossible Ltd.
When turning on the MASTER Controller be careful not to press any button other than the power switch, specifically the Throttle Input. On start-up the controller runs through a calibration process, if the Throttle Input is not centered then the AGITO may accelerate unexpectedly. The calibration process finishes when the main menu screen appears.
FUNCTION SWITCH – Emergency Brake: In Firmware R3, this switch is set to Emergency Brake, switching this during operation will command the AGITO to stop as quickly as possible and hold the AGITO in position. There are three modes of operation, AUTO, UP & DOWN, these are explained later in the manual.
Always ensure that AGITO is stationary and safely positioned prior to using Menus. INITIAL START-UP / CALIBRATION SCREEN This page gives the user the option to calibrate the steering of the AGITO, with or without maintaining any Trim adjustments. There is also the option to proceed without Calibration, we do not recommend skipping the Calibration process, but there are occasions when it may not be possible.

MASTER. Operating AGITO with either a RED RF Signal Strength or Battery indicator is not recommended. Always resolve the issue before continuing with the use of AGITO.
OFF* stops the steering from switching ends. Maintaining the front end at all times. ON enables the steering end of the Agito to swap depending to the direction of movement. Invert Steering on Control the Steering direction behaviours when the chassis is Reverse reversing.

Chassis and IMPERIAL tools for Drive-Ends and camera mount (3/8 Inch). AGITO is supplied with a tool kit which includes all of the necessary tools to perform all of the set-up’s and basic maintenance as outlined in this manual. Should any of these tools need replacing please see our recommendations below: Metric Hex Keys: 2.5mm, 3mm, 5mm...
Align the hexagons on the wheel and the shaft and slide in Using the supplied AGITO Wheel Nut Tool to screw on the wheel nut. Make sure it is tight (but take care not to damage the thread or nut) to prevent it coming loose whilst in motion.
Make sure these are tight and do not come loose. ALWAYS ensure the Payload is properly and securely fixed to the AGITO core, use a minimum of four fixture points. Always try to keep the payload over the centre of the chassis, especially when operating at high speeds.
While twisting the preload make sure you don’t unscrew the shock cap from the main shock body. Too High Correct Too Low Motion Impossible Ltd. www.Motion-Impossible.com +44 1454 501010 AGITO Owners’ Manual v1.0 Firmware r3...

The MASTER will show the main menu screen. For more details see Section 7. If the AGITO is fully laden its good practice to slightly lift the AGITO while it performs this calibration. This will reduce unnecessary the wear of the steering actuators and tyres.
The Maximum Speed dial can be adjusted whilst AGITO is in motion, however if operating in ‘Encoded’ mode, the Maximum Speed will be capped at 500 rpm/ 2.20 mps / 6.0 kmh / 4.5 mph.
MOVES MODE This is AGITO’s repeatable moves option, here you can record a move, store a move, replay a move, recall and delete previously stored moves. You can record any number of moves, memory capacity is limited by time used, and gives over 30 mins of storage.
10. OPERATING AGITO DRIVE DYNAMICS Setting up the AGITO to best suit your driving style and the requirements of the shot is essential. There are many user configurable software options, see Section 7, that combined with the hardware set-up, summarised in section 8, that will vary the drive dynamics.
AGITO Driving the AGITO along a 5-meter line will confirm that the alignment is correct, if the system does not follow the line check the mechanical tracking of the “front end”. Now reverse the AGITO back along the line, if the chassis does not follow the line accurately then double check the mechanical tracking, take note of the tracking of the “rear end”.
We recommend using a WINDOWS PC for all updates. Care should be taken to ensure that the computer and AGITO Core / Master Controller are not Do not unplug the MASTER or CORE from the PC or allow the battery to fail during the update unplugged during an update procedure.
Use BRAKE CLEANER (do not use WD40) to help remove any dirt / grit around the piston shaft. Check that no grit is present in the piston head. Now rebuild and re-mount the Shock to the Drive-end. www.Motion-Impossible.com Motion Impossible Ltd. AGITO Owners’ Manual v1.0 Firmware r3 +44 1454 501010...
