    3. Usage 3.1 What is an M1 model? The TSM4000M1 is intended for monitoring the contact between a workpiece and a machine tool driven by a 3-phase induction motor, such as polishing machines, cylindrical grinders, circular sawing machines, etc. It is best suited for applications to for reducing the idle time between when the main shaft motor starts and rotates a grinder or saw blade, and when the grinder or blade makes contact with the workpiece.
