    Service Manual EDG 650.0 General How does steam cooking work? Steam Cooking is a technique for cooking food using pure steam. Steam is distributed evenly throughout the oven. Since the food is initially cooler than the steam, the steam condenses onto the cooler surface, transferring heat to the food.

    Service Manual EDG 650.0 Installation Fitting the steam cooker into a built-in unit If the kitchen unit is not suitably heat resistant, it must be fitted with heat-shielding material. The dimensional specifications for installation are shown in the drawing. Place the cooker in the housing unit and make sure that it is level.
