• Attic rulers • Staple gun or nails and hammer
• Attic baffles/vents • Flashlight or droplight
ATTIC PRePARATION:
1
Plan your installation path; take extreme caution when moving
through your attic, walk only on joists.

Install attic rulers for R-Value guide using staple gun.
Refer to attic ruler for proper placement.

Ensure proper lighting for safe installation.
4
Install attic baffles/vents if needed.
MAChINe PRePARATION:
1
Choose outdoor or garage location to set up machine.
2
Put the hopper (top of the unit) onto base so that the
wheels are on the same side as hopper opening.
Secure all latches.

Plug supplied electrical cord into 15-amp outlet.
4
Test machine empty to ensure it's operational before
using.
a. White "ready" light on control panel must be illuminated.
b. Press green button on machine to start.
Or, press green button on remote (located on hose).
c. If machine does not start, check the following:
Extension cord is secure at both ends.
Circuit breaker in house.
Hopper is properly seated and is in the correct orientation.
Circuit breaker on machine is on.
GFCI on machine is not tripped. Reset if tripped.

Turn machine off after successful test start.

Join the two 50 foot hose sections together and attach to machine.
7
Run hose to the furthest point in the attic, with the remote
end in the attic.
SAFeTY TIPS:
1
Keep hands and tools out of machine at all times.
2
Do not attempt to remove any foreign objects from machine while it is
running or plugged into an electrical outlet.
3
Do not operate machine indoors—set up outside or in a garage.

ATTIC PRePARATION:
1
Position one person in attic and one at blowing machine to feed insulation.

Installer in attic can now press the "on" button on the remote to begin.
Or, the person at the machine can press the green button.
a. Blower will turn on for 5 seconds before machine starts feeding fiber
glass insulation into hose. You are now ready
to blow insulation in the attic.

Cut package of TrueComfort
Blown-in insulation
in half according to package instructions.

Push package into machine and align the green
dotted line with the knife slot at the top of the
machine. Next, insert your knife in the knife slot
and slit across the entire package from left to right.

While feeding the package into the machine,
pull the bag out. DO NOT LET THE BAG FALL INTO
THE MACHINE. DO NOT OVERLOAD/STUFF THE
MACHINE, or it will shut off.

Install product as a level blanket to the desired
thickness using previously placed attic rulers
as guide.
a. Start at furthest point and work back to attic exit.
b. Continue feeding packages until desired R-Value
is obtained.
c. Run machine until insulation empties from
hopper and hose.
d. Shut off machine using the red stop button on the control panel
or by pressing the "off" button on the remote.
Do not block eave vents with insulation. Install attic
baffles/vents if they were not installed previously.
Return equipment to rental center empty and in same
condition as rented. Also, please clean filter.
heLPFUL hINTS:
1
When blowing, make sure that all openings to the living space are
blocked. Be especially careful that the hose is not dropped into the
living area.
2
Make sure items stored in the attic are moved out of the way or removed.
3
Recessed lighting fixtures and fan motors protruding into the attic
must not be covered with insulation. Blowing insulation should be kept
3 inches from the heat source. This does not apply to type IC fixtures.
4
For troubleshooting, please refer to operating instructions located
on machine.
