Tools Needed

Only requires tools to access telephone circuit board - no tools required for actual programming

Serial numbers 207200 - present

1. Verify that a working telephone line is connected to the screw terminals
marked PHONE LINE. Also verify TIP and RING polarity. (see Tips &
Techniques: Telephone Line Measures)
2. Determine the number to be dialed. If a "9" is required to access an
outside line, it is reccommended to insert a 4 second "Pause" before
entering the rest of the telephone number.
3. Program number as follows:
1. Place PROGRAM/ONLINE switch to PROGRAM position
2. Press the activating push-button
3. Press STORE, then MEM, then "0"
4. Enter the emergency telephone number to be dialed
5. Press STORE
6. Press the RESET button to shut the K-phone off
7. Place PROGRAM/ON-LINE switch to ON-LINE
4. Verify that the correct number was stored by pressing the activating push-button. The phone should
automatically dial and complete the call. Have the called party hang up; the phone should shut off.
