network- or system-administrator. The program uses a simple HTML browser-based
interface (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape or Mozilla Firefox) and requires
no additional software installation to your computer.
In addition to the setup and configuration tools, the utility program can also be used
to monitor the communication conditions when the ACR-201-G is in operation. Once
configured, the device runs self-sufficiently without the need for any additional driver
installation; the device can now simply be plugged into any device equipped with a RJ-
45 Ethernet port without ever being exposed to this Utility program. The details are
described in Chapter 2.
If you do not wish to configure the device's settings, simply plug the ACR-201-G
into your host device, and you can start using it right away. See Chapter 1: Installation
and Setup for more information.
