    The Workswell WIRIS system is equipped with a standard HDMI micro video output. It can be connected to any wireless video link or a display with HDMI input that supports WIRIS Agro resolu on. The default WIRIS Agro resolu on 1280x720 (also called HD or 720p). It is recommended to use a display with 16:9 aspect ra o.

    Warning: Do NOT connect WIRIS Agro to any other powered device (such as PC) through the full size USB port on the rear of WIRIS Agro. As the rear USB port is powered, connec on to another powered USB port can lead to permanent damage to either device. Only unpowered devices (USB Keyboards and USB Flash Storage drives) are to be connected into the rear USB A port of WIRIS Agro.

    Warning: Do NOT connect WIRIS Agro to any other powered device (such as PC) through the full size USB port on the rear of WIRIS Agro - only the side Micro USB port can be used for mass storage access. As the rear USB port is powered, connec on to another powered USB port can lead to permanent damage to either device.

    7.7 Power Supply The Workswell WIRIS Agro system can be powered through a +9 to +36 VDC connector on the back panel. The back panel DC connector is compa ble with a 5.5 mm/OD (outer diameter) and 2.5 mm/ID (inner diameter) plug, where the inner contact is +9 to +36 VDC and the shell is GND.

    Warning: The +5V wire on the S.BUS input is intended for powering otherwise unpowered transceivers and converters from WIRIS Agro. If your transceiver or convertor is powered otherwise, do NOT connect the +5V wires and leave them unconnected instead, only connec ng the GND and S.BUS pins.     Warning: The +5V wire on the GPS input is intended for powering otherwise unpowered GPS modules from WIRIS Agro. If your GPS source is powered otherwise, do NOT connect the +5V wires and leave them unconnected instead, only connec ng the GND, TXD and RXD pins. If the +5V wires are connected, damage of either device might occur.

    9.1 GPS The Workswell WIRIS Agro system is equipped with GPS interface through the uni ed interface cable with a 4 pin connector. As for the physical layer, the Workswell WIRIS system is designed for UART with opera ng voltage of 5 V, although it is tolerant to 3.3 V.

    Autopilots or any device suppor ng MAVLink messages can be connected to WIRIS Agro uni ed interface cable with a 4 pin connector. As for the physical layer, the Workswell WIRIS system is designed for UART with opera ng voltage of 5 V, although it is tolerant to 3.3 V.

    WORKSWELL WIRIS Agro comes with a cable for connec ng the system to DJI CAN Bus on M600 drone with Ronin gimball. WIRIS Agro can read the DJI GPS coordinates from the CAN bus, so there is no need for external GPS. It can also be controlled with DJI Lightbridge 2 controller.

    Firmware Update Workswell WIRIS Agro system is supplied with the latest rmware. As me goes on, newer rmware could appear in order to bring the user new func ons, improve the old ones or x bugs. For this purpose, the system allows the user to update the rmware.

  • Page 68 20.4 Reset to Factory Default You can reset the WIRIS Agro to its factory default state with the pin bu on. Press the pin bu on for more then 5 seconds. The LED should start blinking rapidly. Do not unplug the WIRIS Agro from power source during this process! Factory default can help in some situa ons.
