PIN2 code and PUK2 code
Depending on your SIM card, some features or options may require a PIN2 secret
code. This is a second secret 4 to 8-digit code given to you by your service provider.
If you enter a wrong PIN2 code 3 times, your SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, you

must request the PUK2 code from your operator or reseller.
If you enter an incorrect PUK code ten times in a row the card will be completely
blocked and unusable. If this happens contact your operator or reseller.

First call

Enter the phone number (if you make a mistake, press e) and press (.

Once connected, your phone emits 2 beeps. To end the call, press ).

The battery

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. A new battery is not fully charged
and an alarm will warn you when the battery needs recharging. We advise you to
keep the battery attached to the phone, even when discharged: the backup battery

for the clock (inside the phone) will last longer.
We do not recommend to remove the battery when the phone is switched on: you may
lose all your personal settings (see information on battery safety, page 63).
Charging the battery
1 Once the battery and battery cover are clipped on the phone, plug the charger
(supplied with the phone, in the box) into the right hand socket at the base of
the phone as shown below
