NFC pairing NFC: Near Field Communication, is a connection standard for mobile devices (compatible with NFC). You can pair between your mobile device (if it is compatible with NFC) and the speaker by only touching them together or bringing them into close proximity, normally no more than few centimeters. Please, enable the NFC connection (check your mobile device user manual) and Bluetooth function of your mobile device. Place this last one close the part of the speaker just up to the On - Off del button. Your mobile device will ask if you want to pair it with the speaker. Confirm it by pressing Yes or Ok, then the pairing process will be completed. Using the speaker as a speakerphone When you have paired the speaker to your mobile phone and receive a call, the speaker will flash a blue light rapidly. Press the (Play-Pause button) on the speaker to answer the call. Pressing the (Play-Pause button) during a call will end it. Low Battery when the speakers battery runs low, a red light will flash every 10 seconds and you will hear a tone every 30 seconds. Charging when charging the speaker, the LED will turn to purple color.
- Page 3 Pairing with a laptop Pairing with a laptop, different laptops will have different Bluetooth version. Please make sure your version is compatible with the speaker. You may need to install drivers for your Bluetooth function on your laptop. Pairing works similarly as the mobile method. Search for available devices in the Bluetooth menu of your laptop and select the speaker. Advices on placing the speaker When using your BlueSpeak indoors, the tonal quality can vary depending on where the speaker is placed in a room. When using your speaker outdoors, you should expect the tonal quality to change as you move farther away from the speaker. Keep the following guidelines in mind when placing your speaker: For optimal sound, the front of the speaker, (where the Play-Pause button is located) should face the user. Do not place the speaker on wet or dirty surfaces. Do not place the speaker in small areas that are enclosed on all sides except the front, as this will adversely affect sound quality. Place the speaker only on its rubber base. Standing the speaker on any side other than its rubber base can cause damage to the speaker and adversely affect sound quality.
