4 PERFORM A MEASUREMENT

4.1 installing the batteries

Hold the aluminium casing firmly in one hand
and turn the end cap in a counter clockwise
direction until fully unscrewed (see figure) Pull
the end cap away from the casing and this will
reveal the battery cartridge. Place each battery
within the cartridge ensuring that the polarity
marks (+ and -) on the battery match that of
