Heat comes from the heating elements at the top and bottom of the cooking space.

Use the residual heat: for longer cooking times, i.e. over 30 minutes, switch the appliance off some 5 to10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.     Food probe Only use the food probe supplied. Do not clean the food probe in the dishwasher. The appliance can with the help of the food probe be switched off automatically when the food reaches the desired food probe temperature. A guide to appropriate food probe temperatures can be found in the 'Tips on settings' section.
