La centrale che comanda il cancello non è
collegata con la centrale City5.
A riposo i semafori sono accesi sul verde,
per indicare che è possibile accedere al
varco. Quando arriva un veicolo su un lato il
sensore ne rileva la presenza e
immediatamente viene dato il rosso nella
direzione opposta. Quando il veicolo
transita sul sensore opposto il verde
lampeggia per 2 secondi, poi i semafori
diventano rossi in entrambe le direzioni per
20 secondi; infine viene ridato il verde e il
ciclo può ricominciare. Se entro 15 secondi
non viene rilevato il passaggio sul sensore
opposto, il ciclo viene comunque terminato
con lampeggio del verde e tempo minimo di
rosso.

Altro esempio di funzionamento
indipendente dalla centrale che comanda il
cancello.
In questo caso a riposo il semaforo è verde
in entrata e rosso in uscita. I veicoli in
entrata possono transitare senza dover
avviare il ciclo. Per transitare in uscita
occorre premere il pulsante o usare un
telecomando memorizzato sul canale 2 del
ricevitore MR1; il semaforo in entrata
lampeggia per 2 secondi, poi viene messo
il rosso in entrambe le direzioni per 10
secondi, per dare tempo ad eventuali
veicoli in entrata di liberare il passaggio.
Quindi i veicoli in uscita hanno 15 secondi
per transitare con il semaforo verde, poi il
verde lampeggia, viene dato nuovamente
tempo per liberare il passaggio e infine
torna il verde in entrata. In questa
configurazione non è possibile il conteggio
dei veicoli presenti all'interno.
