Overview Z-004 ZigBee wireless module is designed with TI CC2530F256 that is a true system-on-chip (SOC) solution for IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee applications, the module can be widely used in short distance wireless communication field, with low power consumption, small volume, strong anti- jamming capability.

    Z-004 Manual 4 PC Software Setting In addition to using AT command configuration method, you can also use PC configuration software, which is provide in CD. Install the software and open it, as the follow picture shows Configure UART parameters and open UART port.

There are three function buttons, “Restore the default setting” -> to Restore default setting “Reset”->Reboot the module, “Clear the Network Info”->Clear the network information.

    Z-004 Manual 5 Visualizing ZigBee network Z-004 is compatible with TI’s Z-Sensor Monitor, which is provided in CD. The complete relevant ZigBee network topology can be viewed by this software. Firstly, connect the device to the PC via UART. Secondly, install the Z-Sensor Monitor software. Here is an example, one coordinator module and three router modules.
