Using the Optical Mouse
Your optical mouse uses a light, instead of a roller
ball, to sense movement. Use the optical mouse on
an opaque surface.
Important:
The optical mouse does not work on a glass,
translucent, or reflective surface.
To Install the Optical Mouse
1 Turn off the PC.
2 Plug the optical mouse cable to the green
connector for the mouse on the back of
the PC.
3 Turn on the PC. Your mouse can now be used.
Note:
The PC doesn't recognize the mouse if you connect
it when the PC is on. You must restart the PC after
connecting the optical mouse.
