3. Do a guide cut to a depth of 2-4 cm/0.8-1.6 in (A).
Make sure that the power output of the blade motor
is 60-65%. This to make sure that the guide cut is
straight. Do not cut into rebar.
A
B
CAUTION: Do not use full throttle for the
guide cut.
4. Set the longitudinal speed to maximum. The speed
is automatically adjusted to get the best sawing
effect. If the power output is lower than 100% during
the these cuts, the cutting depth can be carefully
increased.
5. Do subsequent cuts to a depth of 4-7 cm/1.6-2.8 in
(B). The hardness of the concrete and the quantity
and position of reinforcement have an effect on the
cutting depth.
Note: You can change the blade and cut in the same
cut. Make sure that the thickness of the new blade
aligns with the groove width.
a) If the product runs on 1 phase operation, the
power output is decreased. The cutting depth
must be decreased compared to 3 phase
operation. Decrease the cutting depth by ½.
b) When you cut rebar from end to end, cut the
rebar as the illustration shows to keep the blade
sharp. If the rebar does not follow the sawing
groove from start to end, start the cut from the
other end.
