Important:
Read and follow the instructions and safety informati-
on before using for the first time!
You must follow the instructions set out below at
all times before, during and after using the appli-
ance:
Never vacuum glowing or burning matches,
glowing ashes or cigarette butts, burning, caustic
or explosive materials, vapors or liquids.
This cordless hand-held vacuum cleaner is not
suitable for vacuuming harmful dust.
Protect the cordless hand-held vacuum cleaner
and its charger from rain.
This cordless hand-held vacuum cleaner is not
suitable for toxic materials.
Do not vacuum organic solvents or acids.
Never clean any part of the cordless hand-held
vacuum cleaner in a dishwasher or other cleaning
machine.
Do not use petrol or other inflammable liquids
to clean the appliance.
Never clean the appliance with solvents.
Do not dispose of exhausted batteries in a fire.
They may explode!
Avoid contact with a leaking battery pack. In case
of accidental contact, wash the affected area of
skin with soap and water. If battery acids gets in
your eye, rinse out the eye with clear water for at
least 10 minutes and seek a doctor's advice
immediately.
Protect the battery charger and its cable from
damage and sharp edges. Have damaged cables
repaired without delay by a qualified electrician.
Check your tools for damage. Repairs may only
be completed by a trained electrician.
Make sure that the contacts of the battery pack do
not come into contact with other metallic objects
such as nails or screws. There is a risk of short-
circuiting!
Keep the charger and cordless hand-held vacuum
cleaner out of the reach of children.
The mains adapter and mains lead must not come
into contact with moisture since otherwise the user
may suffer an electric shock.
The motor section must not be immersed in
liquids. Only dip the tip of the cleaner into liquids if
you wish to vacuum them. Only vacuum small
quantities of liquid. Hold the collection tank at the

bottom for this purpose so that the liquid cannot
ingress into the motor.
Do not use the appliance to collect small parts.
Ensure that the ventilation slits on the appliance
are not blocked with dust or the like.
The cordless vacuum cleaner must not be
connected to the mains adapter during use.
Do not use the appliance if there are visible signs
of damage on it, its mains adapter or its mains
lead.
Do not insert any items into the openings in the
appliance.
Never use the appliance without a filter.
Important information:
Before you start to use your cordless hand-held
vacuum cleaner it is essential that you read the
following instructions:
1. The battery pack supplied with the tool is not
charged. The battery pack has to be charged
before you use the tool for the first time.
2. Charge the battery pack with the charger supplied.
An empty battery pack requires a charging period
of approximately 8 hours. Do not use the supplied
charger to charge other items of equipment.
3. The battery pack does not reach its maximum
capacitance until it has been charged and
discharged approximately five times.
4. Battery packs lose their charge even when they
are not being used. Regular charging is therefore
recommended.
5. Please check the data marked on the rating plate
of the battery charger. Be sure to connect the
battery charger to a power supply with the voltage
marked on the rating plate. Never connect it to a
different mains voltage.
6. If it is used heavily, the battery pack will get hot.
Allow the battery pack to cool to room temperature
before starting the charging process.
