Safety Instructions
Only use appliance on a flat, level and stable surface. DO NOT use on wet surface
When in operation the surfaces of the urn are HOT
The contents of the urn are very HOT. Be careful not to splatter the contents when
pouring to avoid burns. Steam will be expired when the lid is lifted and care needs
to be taken that the lid is lifted in a way to avoid steam burns of the wrists/hands
DO NOT touch the heating element while the machine is in operation.
ALWAYS turn off the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Use a barely damp cloth to wipe the machine once it has cooled.
DO NOT use caustic substances to clean the warmer and do not allow caustic
substances to make contact with any electrical components of the warmer.
WARNING – This appliance should be used according to the instructions.
Operating Instructions for the Semak Hot Water Urn
1.
Make sure that the knob is in the "OFF" position.
2.
Plug into an earthed 240V AC power supply.
3.
Fill the vessel with water to the desired level using the water level indicator as a
guide.
4.
Turn the switch knob to the desired temperature.
5.
The urn will switch down the temperature and the "keep warm" light will come
on.
6.
When the urn requires additional water, add the water and turn the knob to
the desired temperature and allow the contents to boil.
7.
The urn has boil dry protection, however ensure that the urn is turned off when
NOT in use. Always ensure that locking lid is in place and correctly sealed.
8.
DO NOT run the urn when empty. The heating time will vary depending on the
volume of water within.
9.
When finished heating turn the switch to the "off" position.
10.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
11.
NEVER leave the warmer on unattended. ALWAYS unplug the warmer after use.
MISUSE of this appliance will cause HAZARD.
