KITCHEN SCALE

Introduction
To get the most out of your new kitchen
scale, please read through these
instructions and the attached safety
instructions before use. We also recommend
that you save the instructions in case you
need to refer to them at a later date.
Note!
The manufacturers have left a plastic strip

in place between the battery and the
contacts, to make sure that the battery
does not run down. Remove the plastic
strip before using the kitchen scale.

Special safety instructions

Do not expose the electronics from the
kitchen scale to water or damp.
Do not subject the glass plate in the kitchen
scale to heavy blows or knocks.
Use
Place the kitchen scale on a � rm, level
surface, for example, a tabletop.

Press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display
will be activated. Wait until you see "0" on
the display.
Place the ingredient to be weighed on
the scale's glass plate. After a moment,
the weight reading will be shown on the
display.
If you want to weigh � our, butter or liquid,
for instance, you must weigh it in a bowl.
Place the bowl on the scale's glass plate and
wait until the weight of the bowl is shown
on the display.
Zero the weight by pressing the ON/OFF/
TARE button.
Tip the ingredient into the bowl. The display
now shows the weight of the contents of
the bowl only.
You can also use this function if you want to
weigh several ingredients in the same bowl.
The kitchen scale automatically turns
off shortly after you have weighed the
last ingredient. You can also turn it off by
pressing the ON/OFF/TARE button for a few
seconds.
You can switch the display between grams
(g), pounds (lb) and ounces (oz) by pressing
the UNIT button.
The selected unit is shown on the display.
