Pre-heat the appliance for 3 minutes if the appliance turns cold
Note: You can also preheat the appliance without any ingredients inside. In that case, turn the timer
knob for more than 3 minutes and wait until the heating-up light goes out (about 3 minutes). Then fill
the frying basket with food and turn the timer knob to the required preparation time.
a. The power-on light and the heating-up light go on. (Fig1: No.5 and 6)
b. The timer starts counting down the selected operation time.
c. During the operation, the heating-up light turns on and off from time to time.
This indicates that the heating element is switched on and off to maintain the set temperature.
7. Some ingredients require to shake halfway during the operation (see section 'K. Settings').
Pull the frying basket out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the frying basket
back into the fryer (fig.8).
Tip: If you set the timer to half of the preparation time, you have to shake the ingredients when you
hear the timer bell rings. However, this means that you have to set the timer again to the
remaining preparation time after shaking.
8. When you hear the timer alert, the operation is completed. Pull the frying basket out of the
appliance and place it on the heat-resistant holder (fig 9).
Note: You can also switch off the appliance manually by turning the temperature control
knob to 0.
9. Check if the ingredients are ready.
If the ingredients are not fully-cooked yet, simply slide the frying basket back into the appliance and
set the timer to a few extra minutes.
10. Empty the frying basket into a bowl or onto a plate. (fig.10)
Tip: To remove large or fragile ingredients, lift the ingredients out of the frying basket by a pair of tongs.
11. When one batch of ingredients is ready, the fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch.
K. Settings
This table below will help you select the basic settings for the ingredients.
Note: Keep in mind that these settings are indications only. As ingredients differ in origin, size, shape
and brand, we cannot guarantee the best setting for your ingredients.
Because air is heated up constantly inside the appliance, pulling the frying basket out of the appliance
briefly during operation barely disturbs the process.
Tips
- Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.
- A larger amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer preparation time, a smaller
amount of ingredients only requires a slightly shorter preparation time.
- Shaking smaller ingredients halfway during the preparation time optimizes the end result and
can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the Aria Fryer within a
few minutes after you adding the oil.
- Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the Aria Fryer.
