Application
The Kick Off II electric file is designed for all nail filing
techniques (for removing of old enhancements, buffing and
sculpting etc). Read – for your own benefit – the following
conditions regarding the instructions and warranty of your Kick
Off II Electric File. Keep the instructions near the electric file for
everyone to read who uses the machine.

Safety Precautions
• P lease work safe and responsible. Knitted gloves, clothes
with open cuffs and long hair are likely to being caught in
the machine.
• P lease wear goggles to prevent dust and particles from
getting in the eyes. In addition, please wear a disposable
mouth mask to prevent breathing in dust and particles.
• P lease use the machine in a dry, ventilated space with
a temperature between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius with
an average humidity varying between 20 to 80% (no
condensation). Never use the machine in a wet or humid
place. Moisture can cause short circuiting, fire or rust.
• D uring operation, sparks of fire can occur in the hand
piece. Never use the machine near flammable or explosive
materials such as lacquer, paints, thinner, gasoline, gas,
adhesives et cetera.
• P lease m ake s ure c ord a nd p lug a re n ot d amaged t o p revent
current leakage, shocks or fire. Always check cords and
cables before starting the machine. Let a broken cord be
repaired by a professional.
• U se t he m achine i n a c lean, t idy p lace t o a void t ripping o ver
cords.
• P lease use bits with specified standard for the machine.
Please work within the permitted range of rotation.
• P lease do not place a cloth or anything else on the
ventilation slits of the machine. Also, please avoid using the
machine while any dust is attached around the ventilation
holes.
• A void c ontact w ith fl ammable m aterials l ike a lcohol, o il a nd
other liquids.
• P lease d o n ot b low c ompressed a ir i nto v entilation h oles o f
the machine.
• Turn off the machine during absence.
• Keep the machine out of reach of children.
• Never operate the machine without a bit.
• W hen operating an electric file, we urgently advice you to
use a built-in table vent.
• N ever c hange a nything t o t he m achine t hat c ould a ffect t he
original functionality or safety.
• Never u se t he m achine f or o ther p urposes t han d escribed
Precautions while at work
• P lease ensure that all parts of the machine are firmly
connected before use. Turn the speed button to MINUS, hold
the hand piece firmly and press the on-off button to increase
the speed slowly.
• Never u se t he m achine u nder t he s pecified V oltage ( 230V)
• Turn off the machine while changing the tools.
• K eep h ands, e yes a nd f ace o n a s afe d istance w hile t he m achine
is working.
• T urn t he m achine o ff i mmediately w hen f eeling a bnormal
movement during operation.
• Do not operate the file when the bit is not locked. It may
damage the hand piece.
• Replace a protective bit after use to prevent troubles.
• K eep moving the bit constantly, don't keep the bit on the
same spot of the nail.
• P lease d o n ot p ress t he b it t oo m uch w hile r otating. I t d oes
not only work inefficient but it could also damage the bit
and nail.
• D o n ot d rop t he h and p iece. I f i t h appens, e nsure y ourself o f
a normal appearance of the tool and bit and then operate
increasing the speed from the [MIN] position gradually. If
something unusual is detected, contact your supplier.
Maintenance and inspection
• R emove d ust o r d irt w ith a b rush o r s oft c loth a fter u se. A fter
that use a moist towel. Dry off with a duster. If there is dirt
on the inside of the collet, remove the collet from the head
and clean it.
• U se dust protectors to prevent dust from damaging your
hand piece.
• N ever p lace a d ust p rotector a gainst t he h and p iece, l eave
some space in between.
• A lways remove the bit from the hand piece when you are
finished working. Replace by the protective bit.
• D isinfect your bits according to the guidelines of your
supplier.
• P eriodical i nspection i s r ecommended e very 1 o r 2 y ears f or
safe and efficient use. Please consult your service supplier.
