With a conventional portable CD player, you might
have experienced that the music stopped e.g. when you
were jogging. The ELECTRONIC SHOCK ABSORPTION
protects against loss of sound caused by vibrations and
shocks. Continuous playback is ensured. However it
does not protect the set against any damage caused by
dropping!
• Press ESA during playback to activate the shock
protection.
™ is shown and the protection is activated.

• To deactivate the shock protection, press ESA again.
™ goes off and the protection is deactivated.

Acoustic feedback

The set is equipped with a feature that accompanies various key operations with an
acoustic signal.
• Keep DBB pressed for more than 3 seconds.
If the acoustic signal was deactivated:
bEEP is displayed and the acoustic signal is

activated.
If the acoustic signal was activated:
no bEEP is displayed and the acoustic signal
y
is deactivated.
