OPERATION:
1. Insert power plug into an electrical
outlet, ensuring that the plug matches
the socket.
2. To power on your brush straightener,
press the ON/OFF button. Select your
desired temperature by pressing the
power button once for each heat setting
(there are five heat settings).
3. Once the hair styling process is
complete, press the power button and
hold it down until your Sidekick shuts
off. Unplug it, and allow your appliance
to cool down prior to storage.

5. Safety precautions included, but not
limited to those stated herein, should
be observed at all times while
appliance is in use, especially if the
appliance is used around children.
6. The first time using this appliance there
may be a slight burning smell or very
light smoke which is caused by the
TEMPERATURE
residual oil on the PTC heater metal

parts burning off when heated. It is
normal and safe to use.
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF FEATURE:
Your Sidekick has an automatic shut off
feature for your security and safety. The
Sidekick will shut off after 60 minutes of
use. If you want to use it again, press the
power button.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
360° SWIVEL CORD
1. Use on dry hair only.
2. Brush hair prior to use and straighten
hair section by section.
3. Allow your hair to cool before running
your fingers through it.
RECOMMENDED HEAT SETTINGS:
248F Delicate, thin, easy to curl hair
302F - 336F
Average to thick or color treated hair
375F - 410F
Thick, wavy, or coarse hair
To avoid damage, use the heat setting that
is appropriate for your hair type.

WARNING
To avoid scalding, DO NOT TOUCH the
inner brush while it is heating up, during
operation, or after use until it has
completely cooled down
CARE:
- After powering off, unplug the brush
straightener and let it cool down.
- Do not rinse with water as it may
damage the styling tool.
- For cleaning the handle, wipe with a
moist cloth.
- Do not use harsh products, benzene,
or paint thinner as it may damage your
appliance.
- Clean after each use to avoid build up;
especially when using with hair products.
- Use our Kandy Clean Scrub Brush with
rubbing alcohol to clean the ceramic plate
between the bristles while your Sidekick is
warm. Unplug prior to cleaning.

STORING:
- Turn the appliance off by pressing the
power button. Unplug from the outlet.
- Do not wrap the cord around the brush.
- Allow for the appliance to cool before
storing. Store in a dry, safe place out of
the reach of children.
- The Sidekick will fit in the Over Protector,
RBF Bag, Heat Catcher, or Kandy on the
Run Bag.
