6) The connection of the electrical box to the spa-pak
(terminal block M8 on the electrical card) must be made
with a normalized cable 6x0.75 mm
adequately protect in the section that goes from the push but-
ton box to the spa-pak.
Make sure to match the connections on the terminal block
with those on the terminal block on the electronic card , es-
pecially the connection of the common wire C.
In addition, the installer must check that the cable clamps are
watertight, and then hermetically close the watertight box con-
nected to the pneumatic push buttons and the cover of the
electrical box.
I
Possible connection of the spa-pak with the pri-
mary circuit of the heat exchanger
The spas of the Experience range, instead of a water heater,
may be equipped with a plate heat exchanger of 40,000 kcal/h.
In this case, the water of the spa that circulates in the sec-
ondary circuit of the heat exchanger must be heated with hot
water that is circulated in the primary circuit of the heat ex-
changer (for example by means of a circulation pump).
Circulation of hot water in the primary circuit must be con-
trolled by the electrical box installed on the spa-pak, by con-
necting the circulation pump, via a remote switch, to the re-
spective terminal on the electronic card of the electrical box.
See below.
If the building has a water heating system, with a circula-
tion pump that is always in operation, it is possible to create
a shunt and install, on the primary circuit of the heating ele-
ment, a solenoid valve at 24 v, which can be connected directly
to the aforementioned terminals.
If the heat exchanger is connected to an independent boil-
er dedicated only to the spa, it is possible to control its start-
ups and shutdowns, as well as water circulation.
To run the system in the manner described, there is a 24 V
output in the electrical box. The 24 V is present in the terminals
only when water heating is activated, following the same oper-
ating logic as the electrical heater.
To connect the terminals with a remote switch that controls the
circulation pump, or solenoid valve, installed on the primary cir-
cuit of the heat exchanger, an M16 cable clamp has been pro-
i
vided in the factory (
5, detail 2).
The connection of the electrical box to the spa-pak (termi-
nal block M3 on the electronic card) is to made with a nor-
malized cable with a cross section of 2x1.5 mm
which the installer must adequately protect.
NOTE: the devices connected to the M3 terminal block
must have an input of not more than 100 VA (remote
switches of various types, solenoid valves). This output
is in any case protected by a fuse of 5 A.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

The spas of the Experience range are safe products, manufactured in
compliance with standards CEI 60335.2.60, EN 61000, EN 55014
and tested during production to ensure their safety.
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized
personnel, in compliance with current national provisions.
It is the responsibility of the installer to select mate-
rials based on their intended use, to carry out work
properly, to check the condition of the system that the
unit will be connected to and that it ensures safety of
use, also concerning maintenance work and the pos-
sibility to examine the system.
The spas of the Experience range are class "I" appliances and
therefore they must be permanently connected, without any in-
termediate connections, to the electrical system and to the pro-
tection system (earth system).
The electrical system of the building must be provided
with a 0.03A differential switch and with an efficient pro-
tection (earth) circuit.
Check for proper operation of the differential switch by
pressing the TEST button, which should trip.
For electrical connections, the installation of a multiple-pole
section switch is compulsory (refer to the pre-installation in-
formation provided with the product). It must be positioned in
a place that complies with safety regulations and, in any case,
which cannot be reached by those using the spa.
It is mandatory to comply with this instruction. Any other pro-
cedure is prohibited.
The aforementioned omnipolar switch must ensure an open-
ing of contacts of at least 3 mm. It must comply with the values
for voltage and input as specified in the pre-installation infor-
mation included with each model.
The installation of electrical devices and equipment (sockets,
switches, etc.) near the spas must be in compliance with legal
standards and regulations in the country where the spas are in-
stalled.
For the purposes of equipotential connection required by spe-
cific national standards, the installer must use the terminals pro-
vided (standards CEI EN 60335.2.60) on the spa-pak and on
the compensation tank (refer to the pre-installation informa-
tion included with the product) and marked by the symbol
In particular, an equipotential condition must be established for all
metallic masses surrounding the spa, for example water and gas
pipes, metallic platforms, and so on.
