Instruction manual
We would like to thank you for purchasing the LANAFORM SAFETY HANDLE.
This jointed handle with double safety will guarantee you all of the support and
stability you need in your washroom or anywhere else.
This handle will help you move about and get up safely anywhere the daily
risks of slipping or falling are great. Thanks to its 3 mechanical suction devices,
it instantly attaches itself to glass, fibreglass or porcelain, with no need for
puncturing or screwing.
Special feature: colour indicator light to ensure proper fastening.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING
YOUR SAFETY HANDLE FOR THE FIRST TIME, ESPECIALLY THIS
FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY CODE:
• Always place the SAFETY HANDLE on a surface that is perfectly flat and non-
porous: use on tile, glass, fibreglass or porcelain. It cannot be placed on any
other type of surface.
• Do not attach the SAFETY HANDLE to movable surfaces or mortar or tile joints.
• Before each use of the SAFETY HANDLE, check the wear and functioning of
the suction discs. Do not use the SAFETY HANDLE if you have doubts about its
integrity.
• Before each use of the SAFETY HANDLE, observe the suction force safety
indicators. They must always be GREEN when the suction force levers are
engaged. Depending on the type of surface, a properly tightened handle can
slowly become loose. This is why it is safer to check the suction force safety
indicators and to ensure proper adhesion of the handle on the chosen surface.
• This handle can only be used for support purposes. It cannot bear your entire
weight.
• The maximum resistance of the SAFETY HANDLE is 80kg for vertical exertion.
• The SAFETY HANDLE must be cleaned regularly. To do this, read the cleaning
instructions in this manual.
• Do not expose the SAFETY HANDLE to prolonged sunlight.
• Do not use sharp or pointed objects to release the handle.
• Leave the levers in the off position when the handle is not in use.
• Do not disassemble the device and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
• Should you encounter problems with your unit, please contact your sales
representative.
• This unit is not intended to be used by people, including children, whose
physical, sensorial or mental skills are impaired, or by people who do not have
the experience or knowledge to use it safely, unless they are supervised or
have been given prior instructions by an intermediary responsible for their
safety about how to use this unit. Children should be supervised at all times
to make sure that they do not play with the unit.
