Synchronizing time of day in multisport clocks and scoreboards

One clock/scoreboard is manually designated as leader; all other clocks/scoreboards are
followers. This allows the leader to be placed in a logical, central location where it can reach all
followers. A clock/scoreboard that is designated as leader will display Lead in its boot-up cycle.

These decimal point flashes allow you to see that the leader is sending and the followers are
receiving.

Initial Set Up

1. Make sure all clocks and scoreboards to be synchronized are set to the same channel
number and PAN ID (described briefly below; see the product's user manual for more
detail).
2. Choose a centrally located clock or scoreboard to designate as Leader
3. Configure Leader and set time:
a. Slim Pace Clock or Deck Clock, use either push button on clock or controller
b. Scoreboards must use a controllers (WTTC, WA-3 or WA-2 to set leader and
followers; WTTC or WHC to set time and channel/PAN).
4. Designate all other clocks as Follower
5. Do not set more than one clock as leader; if you do, follower clocks will not behave
correctly.
Configuring with Push Button (for Slim Pace Clock or Deck Clock only)
Hold the push button for 2 seconds and release to cause the clock to enter the menu. The clock
enters Menu 1, as described below. Once in the menu, hold the button for one second to
advance to the next menu item. If you continue to hold, the clock will step through the menu
options every second. Release the button when you are in the menu option you wish to set.
Exit the menu by holding the push button for one second after the address option (A). The
settings you have chosen are only saved after you exit the menu. When you exit the menu, time
of day is set at :00 seconds. It can take a full minute for followers to synchronize with the leader.
Menu 1: Leader or Follower
Displays FOLL and alternates to Lead with each button click. When the choice you want is
displayed, press and hold the button for one second to advance to the next menu.
Menus 2 through 4: Setting time
Once a clock is designated Leader, the next three menus allow you to set 12 or 24 hour clock
format, hours and minutes. Clocks that are designated as Followers do not have these options.
