    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The LBC-HDV-T is a multi-format switcher with HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort inputs to HDBT output. The audio port is independent and could be embedded into any of the video signals and send it to the far end. The product supports webserver and can be controlled by the button, LAN, RS-232, contact closure, IR and RS-232 can pass through.

    CONFIGURATION- LBC-HDV-T This section describes configuration of the standard version of the LBC-HDV-T. WEB SERVER The factory default IP: 192.168.2.175 Note: BCI product configuration program can be used to discover unit’s IP address. To access the product web server, user can direct connect the PC LAN port to the LBC-HDV-T LAN port with a straight RJ-45 cable.

  • Page 13 CONFIGURATION- LBC-HDV-T RS-232 CONTROL CONFIGURATION RS-232: Local RS-232 setting to control the LBC-HDV-T. HDBT RS-232: Set the far end RS-232 baud rate. RS-232 Preset Command 1: When detecting active signal, sends the RS-232 command in the preset timing. Command 2: When no active signal present, sends the command in the preset timing.

    CONFIGURATION- LBC-HDV-T-ICP LBC-HDV-T-ICP CONNECTIONS The LBC-HDV-T-ICP is programmed with a special firmware that allows it to easily integrate with the LBC-H/O-R-ICP. Pairing the LBC-HDV-T-ICP with the LBC-H/O-R-ICP supports the following features: Video input selection using 8-button keypad, touch panel or voice control.     KEYPAD CONTROL LBC-H/O-R-ICP Web GUI After the LBC-H/O-R-ICP is powered up with the LBC-HDV-T-ICP connected, go to the Configure System page of the LBC-H/O-R-ICP web GUI (See LBC-H/O-R-ICP User Manual for web GUI details). The Tx Unit status should change to LBC-HDV-T-ICP connected, indicating that the LBC-HDV-T-ICP has been connected successfully.

  • Page 20 KEYPAD CONTROL This page configures each button’s operating mode and assigns an action(s) to a button. Each button can operate as a Standard button or a Toggle button, which has two states, Press and Release. A single action or multiple actions can be assigned to a button. An action can be a native control type such as Relay, Video Control or Audio Control or an external control type such as RS-232, IR or Telnet.

    TOUCH PANEL Touch Panel Control The following section provides instructions on how to configure an Android tablet or Apple iPad as a touch panel for controlling the LBC-HDV-T-ICP. Android tablet: Install the BCI Controller App on the tablet (see the BCI Controller App User Manual for installation details).

The following configuration defines a button labeled HDMI, which selects the HDMI input. In the Edit Button drop down menu, select Add New Button. In the Name field type in HDMI.

    ALEXA VOICE Voice Control (Alexa) Voice control is easily enabled by adding an Amazon Alexa device such as an Echo Dot as shown in Figure C.   • Page 30 ALEXA VOICE The following section provides instructions on how to configure the LBC-H/O-R-ICP so that voice can be used to control the LBC-HDV-T-ICP via an Echo Dot. Voice control is configured in 4 easy steps: Step 1: Setup Amazon Echo Dot. Step 2: Download Broadata ICP Controller skill.

  • Page 32 ALEXA VOICE Step 4 - Discover the scenes Selecting the Touch Panel Buttons as the scene name source designates each of the touch panel buttons to be a scene. The scene name corresponds to the button name. In the above Touch Panel Configuration, 3 buttons named HDMI, DP and VGA were configured, so the 3 scene names are also HDMI, DP and VGA.

  • Page 34 CONFIGURATION The following configuration sends an RS-232 “power on” string to the monitor connected to the LBC-H/O-R-ICP output when video is detected on any of the LBC-HDV-T-ICP inputs and sends a “power off” string when no video inputs are detected.     MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING 3.1 Maintenance There is no operator maintenance other then keeping the units clean. However, observe the following light indicators to make sure that the unit is working properly: 3.2 Troubleshooting If the LBC-HDV-T-ICP units do not operate properly after installation, check for possible cable breaks, loose connections, and incorrect cable connections.
