Using Voicemail

Note:
For information about setting up voicemail on your BlackBerry 8703e, see
"Set Up Your Sprint PCS Voicemail" on page 7 for details.
New Voicemail Message Alerts
When you receive a new voice message, your BlackBerry 8703e alerts you and
prompts you to call your voicemail.
Note:
When you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network, you may not
receive notification of new voicemail messages. It is recommended that you
periodically check your voicemail by dialing 1 + area code + your wireless
phone number. When your voicemail answers, press (
passcode. You will be charged roaming rates when accessing voicemail
while roaming off the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network.
Your BlackBerry 8703e device's phone accepts messages even when it is
turned off. However, you are notified of new messages only when your
phone is turned on and you are in a Sprint PCS service area.
Retrieving Your Voicemail Messages
You can review your messages directly from your BlackBerry 8703e or from any
other touch-tone phone.
