  • Page 3 STEP 2: SELECT YOUR BATTERY WAND MOUNTING LOCATION The position of the battery wand must be determined before installing the shade in the window. Make sure that the wire is long enough to reach from the battery wand to the motor (at the right end of the head rail). Extension wires are available if needed.

  • Page 6 STEP 5: CONNECT POWER SOURCE - BATTERY WAND/TRANSFORMER BATTERY WAND Plug the battery wand cable into the motor cable. Note: Make sure that the motor cable will not interfere with the operation of the shading as this could cause damage to the shading. The cable may be secured with tape, but DO NOT staple.

    OPERATION Operate your shading with the included Somfy Hand Held Transmitter, DecoFlex Wall Switch or Scroll Wheel Remote. Your remote has been programmed to control your shading. The upper and lower limits have been set and should not need to be adjusted. The intermediate position has also been set. If you are not satisfied with the pre-set positions of your shad- ing, you may adjust by following Advanced Programming steps A,B or C.

    SETTING FAVORITES The MY position of your Sheer horizontal Shading should bring your shading to the fully lowered position with the vanes closed for privacy mode. Only adjust this MY position if the shading is not travelling to this location when the MY button is pressed and released or if a different MY (favorite) position is desired.

    CREATING A GROUP Step 1: Identify the shadings you want to put in a group. Be sure that each shading is operated on its own remote (Telis 1) or on its own channel (Telis 4) and then identify the remote or channel that you want to be your group channel.

    LEVEL THE BOTTOM RAIL (IF NECESSARY) If the fabric is moving to one side as the shading is raised (skewing), first check that the installation brackets are level. Shim to level, if necessary. If the brackets are level it may be necessary to adjust the bottom rail weight. To release the weight clip, insert a flat blade screwdriver into the weight clip and turn clockwise.

    SHADING REMOVAL Partially lower the shading and insert a flat head screwdriver as shown. Twist the screwdriver until the head rail disengages from the bracket. As you release the brackets, support the head rail to keep it from falling. CLEANING AND CARE The shading fabric is easy to care for.
  • Page 13 REPROGRAM FROM FACTORY SETTING Step 1: Using a paperclip, press and hold the PROGRAM BUTTON, located on the end of the motor casing (hole above motor and receiver wires) until shading jogs 3 times, then release button. All remotes and limits will be erased (motor is now set to factory mode).
