Router If you are configuring the DIR-853 from a PC with a wired Ethernet connection, plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the port labeled 1 on the back of the router, and the other end into the Ethernet port on your computer. -

ROUTER MODE USING THE QRS MOBILE APP ROUTER MODE CONFIGURATION To set up and manage your DIR-853, you can use the free D-Link Wi-Fi app, or you can use the built-in web interface. USING THE D-Link Wi-Fi APP Step 1 On your mobile device, go to the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for the free D-Link Wi-Fi app and download it. -

- Verify that your network cables are firmly attached. - Make sure you are connected to the wireless network printed on the Wi-Fi Configuration Card. - If you are still having difficulty, reset the DIR-853 to the factory default settings as described in question 2 above. -
