Please read these instructions carefully before using the
product and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

The instructions include safety guidelines and other information
important for the proper functioning of the appliance. Please
read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
If the appliance changes hands, be sure to give the instructions
to the new owner. It is in your own interest to follow all safety
guidelines.

Safety instructions

• The appliance may only be used with the correct voltage
(220/240 volt alternating current (AC)).
• Never use the appliance when taking a bath, a shower, above a
wash basin filled with water or when your hands are wet. Never
use the appliance near a bath, a wash basin or another recipient
filled with water.
• Never submerge the appliance in water. The appliance may
never come in contact with water when being cleaned.
• Never place a switched on appliance on a soft pillow or blanket.
• Ensure that the air suction and discharge openings are
uncovered during use.
• The appliance has an overheating protection that will switch off
the appliance should it overload (for example, because the air
suction and discharge openings are covered). If the appliance
is switched off during use, slide the switch to 0 and wait 5
minutes before you again switch on the appliance.
• Switch off the appliance when you are interrupting drying your
hair for a longer period of time.
• Remove the plug from the socket:
- when faults occur during use
- before you clean the appliance
- every time you have stopped using it
