    Veiligheidsvoorschriften Lees de handleiding zorgvuldig door vóór de montage en het gebruik van het solar panel, en volg alle instructies op. Bewaar deze handleiding voor toekomstig gebruik. Waarschuwing! Installeer het Solar Panel zodanig dat het niet mogelijk is voor kinderen om via het paneel in het zwembad te klimmen.

    1. Algemene informatie Hoe werkt het Solar Panel? Water stroomt vanaf de filterpomp van uw zwembad naar de linkerhoek onderaan het solar paneel (de inlaat). De kracht van de filterpomp stuwt het water via de onderste verzamelbuis omhoog, door de linkerhelft van het solar paneel.

    Waar plaats ik het Solar Panel? Plaats het solar panel op een harde, vlakke ondergrond. Kies een plaats waar per dag zo lang mogelijk de volle zon op schijnt. Het paneel moet door middel van de meegeleverde pootjes naar de zon gericht worden. Het solar panel moet tussen de filterpomp en de inlaat naar het zwembad worden geïnstalleerd.

    2. Installatie We raden aan om teflon tape rondom het schroefdraad aan de uiteinden van koppelstukken en slangadapters te wikkelen. 1. Haal het solar panel uit de verpakking. 2. Verwijder de pvc koppelstukken van de inlaat en uitlaat van het paneel.
  • Page 9 3. Bevestig de O-ring op de slangadapter (glad). Bevestig het koppelstuk en de slangadapter op de inlaat en uitlaat van het paneel, en draai deze vast. 4. Doe een stop op de inlaat van het zwembad om zo te voorkomen dat er water wegloopt wanneer de aansluitslang die op het solar panel wordt aangesloten.
  • Page 10 6. Maak de zwembadslang (die van de filterpomp naar het zwembad loopt) los van de inlaat van het zwembad. 7. Neem het uiteinde van de slang en sluit deze aan op de slangadapter op de inlaat van het solar panel. Sluit de slangklem met een schroevendraaier.

    9. Bevestig de aluminium pootjes (met beschermvoet) op het solar panel. 10. Verwijder het doorzichtige folie van de afdekplaat op het paneel. OPMERKING: Zorg ervoor dat alle slangaansluitingen goed vastzitten en dat de slangen niet geknikt of te veel gebogen zijn. Als de slangen lekken, controleer dan of alle onderdelen die O-ringen hebben goed bevestigd zijn en dat alle aansluitingen goed aangedraaid zijn.

    Installatie van meerdere solar panels Voor het verwarmen van grote zwembaden kunnen meerdere panelen in serie worden geïnstalleerd zodat het zwembadwater sneller opwarmt. Om de verschillende panelen aan elkaar te koppelen gebruikt u de koppelslang (apart te bestellen). Deze korte rubberen slang gebruikt u om de panelen aan de onderkant met elkaar te verbinden.

    2. Bevestig de korte rubberen slang aan de uitlaat van het eerste solar panel naar de inlaat van het tweede solar panel. Gebruik twee slangklemmen om deze vast te zetten. Bypass kit Het gebruik van een bypass verlaagt de waterdruk in het solar panel, wat de levensduur van het paneel verlengt. De bypass heeft geen invloed op het functioneren van het solar panel.

    4. Probleemoplossing Problemen Mogelijkheden / oplossingen Controleer of het water door het solar panel stroomt door de stroming bij de inlaat van het zwembad te checken. Kijk naar het weer, is het bewolkt of regenachtig geweest? Solar panel lijkt het zwembad niet te verwarmen Gebruik ’s nachts een solar cover op het zwembad om warmteverlies te voorkomen.

    2 jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum. Deze garantie beperkt zich tot de eerste koper en is niet overdraagbaar. De aansprakelijkheid van Comfortpool zal nooit de reparatie of vervanging van defecte onderdelen te boven gaan, en zal geen kosten omvatten voor arbeid om een defect onderdeel te verwijderen en opnieuw te installeren, noch het transport van en naar de fabriek of leverancier, noch enig ander materiaal dat nodig is voor het uitvoeren van een eventuele reparatie.

    Safety warnings Please read this manual carefully before installing and using the solar panel, and follow all instructions. Keep this manual for future use. Warning! Position the solar panel so that it does not provide access to the pool for children. Warning! The solar panel is intended for installation on the ground, next to your pool and filter pump.

    1. General information How it works: Water flows from your pool’s filter into the bottom left corner (inlet) of the solar heater. The power of the filter pump forces the water through the lower header pipe of the solar heater and up through the left half of the unit. When the water reaches the solar heater upper header pipe, it flows to the right and back down through the right half of the solar heater.

    Where do I place the solar panel? Place the solar panel on a hard, level surface. Install the solar panel on the ground in a location where it will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. The unit should be angled toward the sun using the legs provided. The solar panel is to be installed between the filter pump and the pool water inlet.

    2. Installation We advise you to wrap Teflon tape on the ends of all threaded headers and pipe adapters. 1. Remove the solar panel from the box. 2. Take the PVC couplings off from inlet and outlet...
  • Page 24 3. Put the O-ring on the pipe adaptor (smooth). Attach the coupling and pipe adaptor onto the outlet and inlet and tighten it. 4. Plug the return fitting in the pool to ensure no water loss when disconnecting the hose from the return. With some pools you will have to close the tap on the pool connector to prevent water loss.
  • Page 25 6. Disconnect the flex hose from the return fitting. 7. Take the hose end removed from the pool return and connect it to the hose adaptor attached to the header. Tighten the hose clamps with a screwdriver. 8. Connect the provided flex hose tot the end labeled ‘To Pool’ and the opposite end to the return fitting. Tighten the hose clamps with a screwdriver.

    9. Put the aluminum legs (with leg cover) on the solar panel. 10. Remove the protective film from the glazed clear cover. NOTE: Ensure all hose connections are tight and that the hoses are not kinked or bent at severe angles. If the hoses are leaking, check to make sure all of the parts that have O-Rings have them attached and are screwed on tightly.

    Installation of multiple solar panels Multiple solar heater can be installed in series for larger pools and/or for more rapid heating. To connect multiple units together, use the connection kit (not included). The connection kit contains a short rubber hose and hose clamps join the solar panels together at the lower end.

    2. From the first solar panel’s output, use the rubber hose and 2 hose clamps and connect it to the second solar panel. Bypass kit Using a bypass, or dividing valve, could lower the panel’s pressure that could longer the solar panel’s service life.

    Manual for three-way valve The handle on the three-way valve could adjust the water flow, the No.4 is for the water inlet and No.1 is connected with solar heater. If the using 0.25HP to 0.75HP pump, the handle is better sitting on No.2 position If the using more than 0.75HP pump, the handle is better sitting on No.5 position If the pump is less than 0.25HP, the handle is better sitting on No.3 position 3.

    4. Troubleshooting Problems Possibilities / Solutions Make sure that water is flowing through solar heater by checking the flow at the pool return. Note the weather. Has it been cloudy or raining? Solar panel does not appear to be heating the pool Use your pool cover at night to reduce heat loss.

    This warranty is limited to the first retail purchaser and is not transferable. The liability of Comfortpool shall not exceed the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not include any costs for labor to remove and reinstall a defective part, transportation to or from the factory or supplier, and any other materials required to execute a possible repair.
