IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
The PowerUV™ should not be operated if there is a chance of water freezing. If you are in
a climate where water freezes drain the PowerUV™ and bring into an area where it can be
protected from freezing temperatures.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Symptom: Low water flow coming out of the PowerUV.
• Possible Causes: Supply pump is plugged or damaged. If you are operating a
biological filter inline with the PowerUV™ it may need to be cleaned.
• Symptom: Water is not clear.
• Possible Causes: UV-C bulb is not working correctly or glass tube is dirty and needs to
be cleaned. Improper water flow will also reduce the effectiveness of the PowerUV. See
recommendation for proper water flow on the page 2. UV bulb efficiency reduces over
time. For optimum performance, the UV bulb should be replaced every year.

WARRANTY
The Pond Guy® will repair or replace any PowerUV™ found to be defective within 5 years
of the original purchase date. This limited warranty is extended exclusively to the original
purchaser beginning from the date of original receipt. The UV-C bulb is not covered by this
warranty. Abuse or misuse of this product voids all warranty. In case of warranty claims, the
product must be returned to place of purchase accompanied with the original receipt.
