3.3.5 Connecting to an additional device

with powerful speakers

To enjoy the sound effect brought by the
powerful speakers on an external device, e.g. a
mini Hi-Fi system, use red/white audio cables
(not supplied) to connect the Center to the
device.
On the Center

Connect the red plug of the red/white audio
cable (not supplied) to the red socket LINE
OUT R and the white plug to the white socket
LINE OUT L
On the additional device

Connect the other end of the audio cable to the
AUX IN terminals of the additional device
AUX IN

Select AUX mode on the connected additional
device

3.4 Using AC power

Make sure that all connections have been made
before switching on the power supply

Connect the AC power cord to the wall socket.
This switches on the power supply
When the Center or Station is switched to
standby mode, they will still be consuming some
power. To disconnect the system from the
power supply completely, remove the power
plug from the wall socket.
Helpful hint:
– Always press and hold STANDBY-ON to switch
the set to power-saving mode before removing
its power plug.
