PREPARE THE BIKE Remove the outer fairing and old audio equipment. Move any wiring harnesses that would interfere with the new SinisterSound enclosures toward the radio.Installation of SinisterSound Enclosures If you already have an Amplifier go to the Installation of SinisterSound Fairing Kit section. If you are installing an Amplifier or Head Unit, continue.
INSTALLATION OF SINISTERSOUND FAIRING KIT Place speaker covers between inner fairing and mounting brackets. Use included thread cutting nuts. Mount the larger stainless brackets as shown. If you already have an amplifier and head unit, continue to step 4. If you are installing a head unit or an amplifier, skip step 4 and go to the Installation of Head Unit section or Installation of Amplifier section. Connect your speaker pods to your amplifier using the appropriate output connections per amplifier instructions Continue to the Testing and Tuning section.
INSTALLATION OF HEAD UNIT Follow the instructions included with your head unit. We recommend the Kenwood Marine KMR-M series head unit. INSTALLING THE PAC HANDLE-BAR AUDIO CONTROL INTERFACE Connect the Yellow, Black and Red wires from the head unit harness to the Yellow, Black and Red wires of the PAC Harness. INSTALLATION OF AMPLIFIER IMPORTANT: You must use a radio with no CD player like the Kenwood KMR-M322BT or the KMR-M325BT. That way the amplifier will still fit in fairing in front of the radio. Largest amp size needs to stay at or under 8.25" wide. We recommend the Arc Audio Moto600.4 for this bike.

TESTING AND TUNING Turn bike ignition switch to Accessory. Choose a music source and play. We recommend setting the head unit volume to 70% then slowly increase the gain until you start to hear distortion. Then back the gain off a few clicks. About Adjusting the Gain (from Arc Audio Manual): “Because of the wide range of head unit output configurations all ARC Audio amplifiers have an adjustable input sensitivity or “Gain”.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION After all audio equipment is installed, move all wires out of the way. Make sure hooks that hold the fairing near the headlight and pins on the bottom are clear. Replace outer fairing. ! BE CAREFUL ! This model Road Glide does not have brass inserts.
