Metallic objects, such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot.     INSTALLATION Making the worktop recess l Worktop thickness should be 28 - 40 mm, while its width at least 600 mm. The worktop must be flat and level. Edge of the worktop near the wall must be sealed to prevent ingress of water or other liquids.

  • Page 14 OPERATION Pot detector The pot detector is installed in plates equipped with the inductive field system. During opera- tion the pot detector automatically starts or stops the production of heat once a pot is put or removed from the plate, saving energy. •...
  • Page 15 OPERATION Selection of cookware for inductive hotplates Appropriate quality of pots conditions the performance of your plate. • Always use high quality pots with ideally flat bottoms as it prevents points of too high tem- perature forming on the bottom and consequently sticking of the cooked food. Pots and pans with thick metal sides guarantee perfect distribution of heat.
  • Page 16 OPERATION Selection of cookware for inductive hotplates Cookware marking Check if there is a sign on the label informing that the pot is suitable for use on inductive plates. Use magnetic pots (from enamelled sheet metal, ferrite stainless steel, cast iron), check them by trying to attach magnet to the pot bottom (has to cling).
  • Page 17 OPERATION Control panel • All the indicators will go on for a brief moment when the cooktop is connected to the mains. The appliance is ready to work. • The cooktop is equipped with an electronic touch button control panel. Press the suitable button for at least 1 second to activate the requested function.
  • Page 18 OPERATION Setting the heating power As long as ‘0’ remains displayed in the burner display (3) and the respective digit is blinking, you can set the required heating power by pressing touch buttons “+” (2) or “-“ (4). In order to protect the supply mains, the induction hob can operate at the maximum power of 3500 W.
  • Page 19 OPERATION Unlocking the cooktop Touch the key button (8) to turn off the lock. The lock becomes inactive the moment the respec- tive LED goes off. A brief tune sounds when the button is released. “0” must be apparent in all the displays, or the heating power must be set for at least one of the burners in order to unlock the cooktop.

    CLEANING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE Daily cleaning and proper maintenance have crucial impact on the durability of your ce ra- mic plate. Clean the ceramic plate observing the same rules as for glass. Never use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents, scrubbing powders or scratch- ing sponges.
