To separate the Samsung display assembly from the

frame/front housing, utilize one of the screwdrivers or
the plastic opening tool and through the front-facing
camera hole, while securely gripping the sides of the
S4's frame/front housing, carefully push the damaged
display assembly away from the S4's frame/front
housing.
You can now use the nylon spudger or plastic opening

tool to continue working around the Galaxy S4 display
assembly slowly separating it from the frame/front
housing. Be mindful of the home button assembly
toward the bottom of the Samsung smartphone.
With the S4 display assembly seperated from the

frame/front housing, you can utilize the flat end of
the spudger to remove the home button assembly.
