Before operating the unit, please read this guide thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire, do not cover the ventilation opening of the appliance with newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains, etc. Do not expose the appliance to naked flame sources (for example, lighted
candles).
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing, and do
not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
As the main plug is used to disconnect the unit from the mains, connect the unit to an easily accessible
AC outlet. Should you notice an abnormality in the unit, disconnect the main plug from the AC outlet
immediately.
The unit is not disconnected from the mains as long as it is connected to the AC outlet, even if the unit
itself has been turned off.
Do not install the appliance in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet.
Precautions
On safety
• Completely disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains) if it is not going to
be used for an extended period of time. When unplugging the unit, always grip the plug. Never pull
the cord itself.
• Should any solid object or liquid get into the unit, unplug the unit, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
On placement
• Do not place the unit in an inclined position or in locations that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, dirty, or
humid or lacking adequate ventilation, or subject to vibration, direct sunlight or under lighting
equipment.
• Do not leave any objects susceptible to magnetism (cash cards, credit cards with magnetic coding,
etc.) near the unit.
• Be careful when placing the unit on surfaces that have been specially treated (for example, wax, oil,
polish) as staining or discoloration of the surface may result.
• Make sure not to splash water on the unit. This unit is not waterproof.
On heat buildup
• If you use this unit for a long time, the temperature of this unit may rise, but it is not a malfunction.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation holes or insert small objects into it. The unit may short out or
malfunction.
On cleaning
Clean this unit with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type
of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent, such as thinner, benzine, or alcohol.
About the Voice Guidance

Depending on the status of the system, the voice guidance outputs from the system as followings.
• When setting the system to the pairing mode; "BLUETOOTH pairing"

Precauciones
Sobre seguridad
• Si no se va a utilizar durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado,
desconecte completamente el cable de alimentación de ca de la toma de
corriente de la pared. Cuando vaya a desenchufar la unidad, agarre
siempre la clavija. No tire nunca del propio cable.
• Si en la unidad entra cualquier objeto sólido o líquido, desconecte la
unidad, y consulte a su proveedor Sony más cercano.
Sobre la ubicación
• No ponga la unidad en posición inclinada ni en lugares que estén muy
calientes, fríos, polvorientos, sucios, o húmedos o que carezcan de la
ventilación adecuada, o que estén expuestos a vibración, luz del sol
directa o a una luz intensa.
• No deje objetos susceptibles al magnetismo (tarjetas de efectivo, tarjetas
de crédito con codificación magnética, etc.) cerca de la unidad.
• Tenga cuidado cuando ponga la unidad sobre superficies que hayan sido
tratadas especialmente (por ejemplo, cera, aceite, lustre) porque se podrán
producir manchas o decoloración en la superficie.
• Asegúrese de no salpicar agua en la unidad. Esta unidad no es a prueba
de agua.
Sobre la acumulación de calor
• Si utiliza esta unidad durante mucho tiempo, la temperatura de la misma
puede aumentar, pero no es un mal funcionamiento.
