Initial start-up and preparation

WARNING:
Ensure that the base is placed
on a dry, level and cool surface.
Make sure, that bottom connector and
base connector are always dry - risk of
electrical shock and fire.
CAUTION:
It is essential to read all safety
instructions before the first use.
CAUTION:
Never remove the whisk while
operation this appliance. En-
sure the frothering spring is not remo-
ved from the whisk. Risk of burning the
coating.
CAUTION:
Do not add ingredients such as
syrup, sugar, chocolate powder
or other additives directly into the milk
frother - risk of damaging the coating.
Before the first use please remove lid,

seal and whisk and clean it according to
the cleaning instructions (s. page 12-13).

Base the whisk back in the jug. Connect

the base to the power socket. All buttons
are steady on.

WARNING:
Ensure that the power source
voltage matches to the speci-
fications on the rating place.
Fill the jug with milk up to one of the

two „MAX" level indicators: for hot milk do
not pass the upper „MAX", for milk froth do
not pass the lower „MAX". Never undercut
the „MIN" limit.

Place the filled jug on the base and put

the lid on it. All buttons light up.

Choose your required milk preparati-

on by pressing the dedicated button. The
button blinks during preparation. When
the blinking stops the froth is ready. To
interrupt operation, press the selected
button again or lift the jug from the base.
Preparation times:
Cold milk froth approx. 80 seconds, hot
milk and hot froth approx. 120 seconds.
Pour the finished milk or froth into a

cup or glass.
CAUTION: Do not use a metal
spoon to empty the jug as this
may damage the coating!
INFO: The appliance turns off
automatically after 2 minutes of
non-use. To switch ON press any
button.
CAUTION: Only use cold, fresh
milk (whole oder semi-skim-
med) from the refrigerator
(39 - 43 °F / 4-6 °C). For hygenic rea-
sons and proper maintenance of the
equipment it is recommended not to use
enriched or flavoured milk or milk pre-
pared from powder. Always replace the
milk back in the refrigerator after use.
