it. Always use the appliance only
with the base provided. Always dis-

the power supply immediately and

Always attach plug to appliance
first, then plug cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect, turn any

damp or hot objects
• do not place the appliance on the
cable
• do not pull the plug on the cable
out of the socket

tripping hazard
Short cord instructions
A short power-supply cord is pro-
vided to reduce risks of entangle-
ment or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care
is exercised in their use. If a longer
power supply or extension cord is
used,
• The marked electrical rating of
the extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance,
• If the appliance is a grounded
type, the extension cord should
be a grounded type 3-wire cord,
and
• The longer cord should be ar-
ranged so it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where
it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over.
WARNING
Do not use the appliance with a
damaged supply cord. It must be
repaired or replaced by the manu-
facturer, its customer services or
a similarly qualified person before
