Congratulations on purchasing a REDBACK UHF Band In-ear Monitoring System. With UHF 16 preset
selectable frequencies, the mini receiver with wireless transmitter can provide in-ear monitoring for every
performer on stage, for hearing impaired systems or tour groups. The system is designed for high audio
quality and reliable interference free transmission.
Please read this instruction manual completely before operating the system.

Operating Instructions
1. Push to open the battery cover. Insert two 1.5V batteries into the battery compartment J according to
polarity (+) and (-) indication marked on the housing.
2. Tune the in ear monitor to the same frequency as the transmitter so that there is no interference in the
local area for the receiver and transmitter. Use table 1 to set the rotary switch I to the correct setting.
3. Screw on the earpiece.
4. When switching on the power, the LED E lights to indicate that RF signal is being received.
5. Adjust the output level with the volume rotary control C .
6. When the LED E flashes this indicates that the batteries are flat. Replace batteries or if using recharge-
ables, connect to charging input.
7. To recharge the batteries, connect the cable as per figure 2. Full battery charging time is approx 10 hours
(for 1800mAH batteries).
